We have been working to build awareness of the Aviva brand over recent months, and over the coming months, this activity will be increased to build confidence and awareness among consumers.
Yes, there will be no changes to teams as a result of the change.
The people and organisation that you deal with will not change as a result of the move to a global brand. The heritage and service associated with Norwich Union will remain but will be built upon as part of a global organisation: Aviva. We'll be in a position to be able to build on our local expertise by adding knowledge from other global markets to improve the offerings to our brokers and partners. You will continue to deal with the same team on a day to day basis.
This announcement is the first stage of moving to the Aviva brand. The migration to the Aviva brand will be carried out over the next two years. It is very important to us that we manage the process well and therefore we will be carefully analysing what work needs to be done and putting together the appropriate timelines. We will be contacting all of our partners in due course to ensure that they are kept fully informed.
The change will occur over the next two years. We are currently reviewing the exact timing. For now you do not have to do anything. Your account manager will contact you and will discuss in detail what will happen, when, what you will need to do and how we can work together to change to our global brand: Aviva.
In our planning we have sought to take into account the time you need to make changes to materials in a well managed way. The change to Aviva will happen over the next two years which we believe should give you time to use your existing branded items. We will be discussing the changes with you in good time to allow a smooth transition to our global brand: Aviva.
If your business with us involves you producing or issuing documents with Norwich Union branding and/or Norwich Union company names, we will be in touch with you in good time before the changes take place, to discuss any actions needed and any related issues such as stock management.
There will be significant Aviva sponsorship and advertising campaigns throughout the transition, starting in the autumn this year so that we increase awareness and recognition of the Aviva brand. We do not anticipate a dip in business as current brand names will remain for at least a year which will provide us with time to build recognition of the Aviva brand and ensure a smooth transition.
Your account manager will be contacting you to discuss the detailed logistics and implications. If your business with us involves you producing or issuing documents with Norwich Union branding and/or Norwich Union company names, we will be in touch with you in good time before the changes take place, to discuss any actions needed and any related issues such as stock management.
